At 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 15, the Aula Magna on Trieste Street will host the Gianni Clerici: The Tale of Tennis conference. On the occasion of the donation of his library and archives to the Brescia branch of Catholic University, friends and colleagues will remember the “scribe” of Italian sports journalism, tracing his career and most significant events. Speakers at the meeting will include Carlo Annovazzi, editor-in-chief Repubblica Milano; Claudio Mezzadri, former professional tennis player and sports commentator; Francesco Rognoni, full professor at Cattolica University; Ubaldo Scanagatta, director Ubitennis.com; Stefano Semeraro, editor of Il tennis italiano and sports journalist for La Stampa; Elena Pero, journalist and SKY TV commentator; and Riccardo Piatti, elite coach Piatti Tennis Center.

During the evening Master Emidio Rossi will present the 2023 edition of the Christmas Circuit, the customary youth tournament involving over six hundred elementary and middle school children from the provinces of not only Brescia and Bergamo, but also Mantua, Cremona, and Piacenza.
